In 2020, The Knox Project expanded its regular programming to adopt the Covid-19 Response. During 2020, we here at The Knox program were well aware that there were shortages on finding and purchasing masks, gloves, bleach wipes, and obtaining accurate CDC information and updates here in the city of Chicago. We then took it upon ourselves to make sure that low-income communities had access to these necessities. Therefore, we made it our top priority to visit these minority communities and give masks, gloves, bleach wipes, and CDC information out free. Still today, our Covid-19 Response Program is still committed to doing whatever is necessary to help all under privileged communities in the city of Chicago through this pandemic.
